JOAN AGHA FOUNDATION INSPIRES HUNDREDS OF WOMEN AT ANNUAL LECTURE

October 17, 2018, was a day hundreds of women in Lagos will not forget in a hurry, as Joan Agha Foundation brought them together, at Oriental Hotel, for her Annual Lecture For Women Entrepreneurs. The event which was well attended by both business and career women, featured amazing speakers, including Prof (Mrs.) Gloria Elemo, DG, FIIRO, Amb. Ayoola Olukanmi, DG NACCIMA, Mrs Ojini Olaghere, Mr. Peter Bamkole, etc.

According to the Convener, Mrs. Joan Agha, women need to be empowered to achieve their full potentials, and platforms like this one helps empower their minds, so as to become more productive at whatever they do. She further called on government to do more to for women by creating more opportunities aimed exclusively at women across the country, because in her words “when you empower a woman, you empower a nation”.
