The Entrepreneur AfricaNigeria’s biggest indigenous electronics company, Polystar Electronics, was recently celebrated in Dubai, as its parent company, Polysonic, was honoured with Outstanding Service Award, by the global electronics giant, Sony.
This award took place at Sony’s 2019 Business Planning Meeting, which took place at the prestigious HW Marquis Marriott Hotel, Dubai. On the ground to receive the award on behalf of Polysonic was the young and beautiful Director of Business Operations, Ifunanya Paulinus. The University Of Toronto graduate, Ms Ifunanya, who has been described as one of Nigeria’s youngest top Executives, described the award as an affirmation of the leading role and hard work Polysonic puts into ensuring Nigerians have the best quality electronics products in their homes and offices. She promised that the company’s signature product, Polystar, will continue to be promoted alongside other global high-quality brands like Sony so as to give Nigerians a variety of quality options.
On his part, Sony’s Global Chief Of Marketing and Communications, who presented the award, praised Polysonic for contributing immensely to the growth of Sony, in not only Nigeria but Africa. He further described Polysonic as a reliable partner and promised to continue to work with the company towards ensuring that the African market is dominated by quality products.
This is not the first or second time Polysonic is winning this award from Sony, as the company continues to maintain its leading status in the Nigerian market.
