Upgrade Conference begins tomorrow across major cities

The yearly Upgrade Conference in Nigeria will begin tomorrow across some major cities of Lagos, Abeokuta and Ibadan.

Prior to the upcoming event, it had toured some international cities as Atlanta, Maryland, New York and Dubai, and is scheduled to visit more locations in Europe, Middle East and Sub Saharan Africa.

This year’s conference is tagged: “Speed, Accelerating For Personal Finance.”

According to the convener, Stephen Akintayo, the conference is a motivational gathering geared towards the transformation of lives, businesses and career.

In the last four years, UPGRADE had trained over 20,000 people across 20 cities locally and internationally.

The 2018 edition also heralds the 10th Anniversary of the conference, hence more notable speakers are expected to give keynote presentations to increase the transformation agenda and raise excellent entrepreneurs and enterprise builders.

It is for those who know that success is not a destination, but a journey and desire to be inspired into discovering the next phase of their businesses.

The conference has been described as a platform for entrepreneurs to awake the sleeping giants in them.

Akintayo said it had been observed that most business owners get weary within the space of three years of running their organisations.

He added that most SMEs don’t rise above a particular level because they have not discovered that there is more to their brands.

He explained that he started one of his early businesses, having failed in several attempts, with $10 and grew it to a multi-million dollar empire in six years.

The convener said he has the passion to see other entrepreneurs duplicating his classical result in a greater fashion.

He disclosed that the one-day event across 10 cities in the country would help participants to upswing from good to better and be less complacent in their businesses and careers.

Akintayo added that the conference is also a platform for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) to build brand identity for their products and services.

He further disclosed that the major thrust of the yearly event is the focus that the most dynamic societies in the world are the ones that have the most entrepreneurs.

Also included is the belief is that they also have the economic and legal structure to encourage and motivate entrepreneurs to greater activities.

The convener restated that a nation could be prosperous, only to the degree to which it encourages entrepreneurial activities in the society.

He urged the general public to register through their website and attend the event, which is free.
